Maxx Kochar is a journalist and photographer who leads Hope Imperative, the independent Canadian public-interest publication published by BLUE SQUARES.

 

His journalism examines well-being, equity, governance, infrastructure, media, technology and sustainability, including Canada’s progress on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Hope Imperative publishes sourced reporting, analysis and clearly labelled commentary.

 

Maxx also leads BLUE SQUARES Consulting and Media, drawing on more than 30 years of organizational experience. Commissioned client services are separate from Hope Imperative’s editorial decisions. Paid work does not purchase editorial coverage.
